Meet Pauline

A mother of 5 son and 5 grand children, Pauline has been teaching line dancing for over 15 years. As one of Australia's most prolific line dancers, you will be invited into a fun and inclusive class where you will learn new line dances each week.

Scroll below for the full story about Pauline Greenwood.

I have been a line dancer since the mid 90’s and have witnessed many changes, from the old favourite's of Boot Scootin' Boogie, to Australia's current top 40 hits. The most significantly, being with the diversity of the music and to a lesser degree the complexity of the dance sequences. At PGLD Geelong, our ethos is to always be accepting to all styles of music genre's. As an Instructor for more than a decade, I currently hold 6 classes per week throughout Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula and love the stimulation that teaching gives me.  I have been 'President of the Victorian Line Dance Association' for three terms and served more that 9 terms on the Board. Furthermore, I have been the ongoing Coordinator of "The Discover Portarlington" Long Weekend in March. In 2018, I have committed myself to remaining a VLDA committee member.

In Addition to my commitment to our state's Line Dancing Agenda, I have been very fortunate to launch and host The United We Dance Social, which has now completed it's 8th year. My aim, with the support of my sub committee and Family has been to host Country Music Artists by creating a unique, iconic event here in Geelong. My endeavour is to captivate audiences and dancers from Geelong, Melbourne and country suburbs and ultimately raise the much needed funds for Relay For Life-The Cancer Council of Victoria.
